Whole Lotta Rosie Lyrics
by AC/DC

Wanna tell you a story
'Bout a woman I know
When it comes to lovin'
Oh, she steals the show
She ain't exactly pretty
She ain't exaclty small
42-39-56
You could say she's got it ALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

Never had a woman, never had a woman like you
Doin' all the things, doin' all the things you do
Ain't no fairy story
Ain't no skin-and-bones
But you give all you got, weighin' in at nineteen stone

You're a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta woman
I gotta whole lotta Rosie
A whole lotta Rosie
A whole lotta Rosie
I gotta whole lotta woman, yeah-yeah-yeah

Honey, you can do, do it to me all night long
Only one can turn, only one can turn me on
All through the night-time
Right around the clock
Tell you some things, Rosie never stops

You're a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta woman
I gotta whole lotta Rosie
A whole lotta Rosie
A whole lotta Rosie
I gotta whole lotta woman, yeah-yeah-yeah

It's a long way to the top

IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP (IF YOU WANNA ROCK 'N' ROLL)

Ridin' down the highway
Goin' to a show
Stop in all the by-ways
Playin' rock 'n' roll
Gettin' robbed
Gettin' stoned
Gettin' beat up
Broken boned
Gettin' had
Gettin' took
I tell you folks
It's harder than it looks
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you think it's easy doin' one night stands
Try playin' in a rock roll band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
Hotel, motel
Make you wanna cry
Lady do the hard sell
Know the reason why
Gettin' old
Gettin' grey
Gettin' ripped off
Under-paid
Gettin' sold
Second hand
That's how it goes
Playin' in a band
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you wanna be a star of stage and screen
Look out it's rough and mean
It's a long way to the top
If you wanna rock 'n' roll

 Gross fact Wednesday!

I was reading a blog on the stream and even though I had a slight head ache and wanted to stop I couldn’t… I was stuck to my screen and got a bit upset when I started jumbling the pages up. If you get a chance drop over there and check it out…the address is at the bottom of my blog’s I like list. I haven’t always known there were people like the parents of that story… I didn’t know that until I was well into grade school. I’d say the 5th grade. Her name had been Teresa and she had parents sort of like the ones in that story. Of course they hadn’t been “as” bad but during gym class every day I saw what someone had done to her….. And how know one had cared. I guess back then… 30 years ago or so… child abuse wasn’t the main thing on the front burner. Teresa and I were never really friends. She lived about 6 blocks from me in the old part of town… After school I would some times see her in the ally way walking home. She was nice enough… she wore glasses and I remember her teeth had braces on them. This is bad to say but she and I became and were ONLY friends in that ally. During school on the play ground I had my “other” friends. When I look back on that I hate it! Not so much for me but for her… the part I hate about myself was that I didn’t have the nerve to just be her friend out in the open! It wasn’t like I was a popular kid. I was on the edge of being “the made fun of kids” and in my child mind back then I thought she would certainly push me over the edge. So in that ally after school we talked about all sorts of things… She told me she had been born at home along with all her sisters. She also said she had got to see her little sister be born. That really grossed me out… I think because I had pictured her standing with all the other sisters around a bed and watching there screaming mother with her dress hiked up. I had seen such things in the cowboy movies me and my Dad use to watch and I stuck that picture on it. Long dress and all. Of course I hadn’t any idea of the makings under the dress and I think that’s what made me sick about it all. I had been invited to her house a few times but once was all it took. I never went back. It was weird and strange there and her father gave me the creeps. He hadn’t been anything like Bob. Remember him? Tootie’s dad…. He carved the wood circus…. Or anything like my own Pop. I remember that he had not wanted us to play alone in her room… he had made us play in the living room where he was watching the TV. I remember this only because my own Dad never let me watch the news and that’s what had been on….. And every time I looked up he was looking at us! Now that was really nothing like my Dad! My father didn’t see my step mom pass out in the kitchen once because he was too engrossed in the Television. (We were the first on our block to have a color TV and we were poor.) My Pop just loved Television. …. But Teresa’s dad must not have.

Wednesdays gross fact:

About ten billion tiny scales of skin rub off your body every day. In a lifetime, you could fill eighteen sugar bags with dead skin.
Now isn’t that just disgusting?

I haven’t been posting anything about the potty training. For the past 2 weeks Bonnie has moved up to the big toilet and only wears pull up’s at night!… She will be 2 next week!… I am very proud of her and I would like to share my secret. ……. The secret is……… Flushing the toilet. Yes it seems that it’s fun for her to watch things swirling and then going down the drain. Of course you must have blue water. And you must let “them” flush it and stand there and watch as it spew’s it’s spore matter 20 feet in the air in all directions but it is a must…. And of course you have to ask them every 20 minuets if they need to go.

I think that I have been cheated out of voting for the president because I moved to Mississippi. If I had stayed in Texas I wouldn’t have this problem. Mississippi does not let any one with a conviction on there record vote. Texas does. Location in this country has a huge effect on some people when it comes to civil rights. Not all Americans get to have a voice. I find this to be a travesty. And I feel it goes against the freedom that this country was founded on. Shame on you Mississippi! Shame , shame on you!

Did anyone get to see the Spike Lee movie about when the levee‘s broke?… I thought it was pretty good. I want to say that I feel those police men that held the old people back from crossing the bridge to move North after the flood, should be arrested them selves. I live an hour North of New Orleans and me and my family were hit bad by the Hurricane… But not as bad as they were… I could have given shelter to at least 10 to 15 old people…. I was with out power but I could have saved them from the burning sun and hunger that happened AFTER the flood! ( you’d be surprised at what a can of Spam and a hand fan under a nice shady tree will do) My house hadn’t been damaged that bad. If they would have let them come up hwy 55 all sorts of Mississippians would have helped even though they too had been in the path of the hurricane.

Well I need to be going… I have a small job I’m trying to finish….Peace out my friends!

Just a few good ones from Willie........

BORN TO LOSE:
I'm born to lose I've lived my life in vain every dream has only brought me pain
All my life I've always been so blue born to lose and now I'm losing you
Born to lose it seems so hard to bear how I long to always have you near
You've grown tired and now you say we're through born to lose and now I'm losing you

I'm born to lose my every hope is gone it's so hard to face an empty dawn
And you were all the happiness I knew I'm born to lose and now I'm losing you
( Willie Nelson is singing this song today )

This next song I listened to while I sat on the front pew too my mothers funeral service....Today I am listening to it again....I think she would have loved the fact that I chose the music of The King of Texas to play as we all morned for her......... Sure Elvis was the King of Rock but Willie is the King of Texas in my book...

Hands on the wheel:

At a time when the world seems to be spinnin' hopelessly out of control,
There's deceivers an' believers an' old in-betweeners,
That seem to have no place to go.
Well, it's the same old song, it's right an' it's wrong,
An' livin' is just somethin' that I do.
An' with no place to hide, I looked in your eyes,
An' I found myself in you.

I looked to the stars, tried all of the bars.
An' I've nearly gone up in smoke.
Now my hand's on the wheel, I've something that's real,
An' I feel like I'm goin' home.

An' in the shade of an oak down by the river,
Sit an old man an' a boy,
Settin' sail, spinnin' tales an' fishin' for whales,
With a lady they both enjoy.
Well, it's the same damn tune, it's the man in the moon.
It's the way that I feel about you.
An' with no place to hide, I looked in your eyes,
An' I found myself in you.

An' I looked to the stars, tried all of the bars.
An' I've nearly gone up in smoke.
Now my hand's on the wheel, I've something that's real,
An' I feel like I'm goin' home.
