I’ve been real busy for the past few days and I haven’t really had the chance to write anything…I declared war on the fire ants in my back yard…Normal life for me is to leave things living…and just try to adapt around nature… but those ants have gone to far!… Every day I spray them off the concrete of my dog kennel… The first day I watched them all trying to group together to keep from drowning broke my heart… then I saw my puppy run and sit down and bite his foot from where one stung him…I refuse to use chemical warfare against them but that doesn’t stop me from heating up the hose in the sun to make hot water for about 30 seconds… Now they have found a way to get to the food in the kennel by making a long chain in a crack in the concrete! I stomp them! I flood them! I pour grits on their little cities! Still they come! I win the battle every day but they are winning the war! Day before yesterday I stuck the hose in that crack and let the water run full force! I didn’t anticipate the ant splash back… I was stung about 4 times in places I couldn’t reach… That just made me hate them worse… Fire Ants!…. What are they good for I ask you?!….

Good to be home huh?… It always is after you’ve been gone for awhile… I was thinking about a little nap…. How about it…Sit back in your favorite chair and instead of hugs and goodbyes lets just listen to Keb` Mo` singing Lullaby baby blues…. And remember…the moonlit sky does watch over you….
