I wanted to say a couple of things about the Border situation of Mexico and the USA…. First I have to say that my grand daughter is Spanish….or Mexican, how ever you want to say it and her father is in this country and his work visa expired about 15 years ago… (( he lives in Amarillo: go get him border patrol! Their not together any more)) Sure I secretly was going to call the Immigration on him….. A FEW times! But I was afraid my daughter would take my grand child and go back to Mexico with him…. And they are AMERICANS! So what I am about to say is not born from hatred of any race… because I love them all… I am a history lover so I know the importance of all cultures and nationalities… and how America it self is a huge blending pot of this… EXCEPT Mexico has gone a step farther with the word IMMIGRATION! Instead of doing things like OUR fore fathers had done, they decided to break the LAW and come here… To SNEAK here under the cover of darkness…. Not bothering with going through legal channels… THAT disgraces all Mexican’s that struggled to come here legally! They worked hard to be a citizen and took the test! That kicks dirt in the face of MY family who came here through the proper channels!! Illegal aliens from Mexico do not stand and remove their hat when the star spangled banner is played…. (I’ve witnessed this myself on several occasions)… They don’t think about in listing or fighting to keep this county free…. They don’t think about learning our language….they don’t think about the love a TRUE American feel’s in their heart for their country… They think about working and sending American dollars back to MEXICO! They think about bringing drugs here…They could care less about us or our country! They are not the citizens that you’d would hope them to be…. Why? Because the ones sneaking over the border have the lowest standards of the Mexican people…. The scum of Mexico… The good people of Mexico go through the proper channels to be here… they work with our Government to acquire green cards and pass ports and they learn to speak ENGLISH. Never would I go to live in a country were I couldn’t speak the language! I’ve been to Mexico… My first time not being able to buy a pack of cigarettes made me learn some Spanish! And that was just to VISIT! I couldn’t fathom LIVING some place and not knowing what others are saying around me! So from me ….. Our Great President gets the three thumbs up…. And to any ILLEGAL that I have offended…. Tough shit and keep your head down at the border those National Guard soldiers know how to shoot.
