 Bring some lovin' here today.......

Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today - Ya

Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today

Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me, so you can see
Oh, what's going on
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Ah, what's going on

In the mean time
Right on, baby
Right on
Right on

Father, father, everybody thinks we're wrong
Oh, but who are they to judge us
Simply because our hair is long
Oh, you know we've got to find a way
To bring some understanding here today
Oh

Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me
So you can see
What's going on
Ya, what's going on
Tell me what's going on
I'll tell you what's going on - Uh
Right on baby
Right on baby

 changing of the ghouls.......

OK …. Trick or treating is NOT like it was when I was a kid!… I live in the country so I had to drive Bunny into town to go “trick or treating”. I expected to find a nice little neighbor hood where all the porch lights were on and I could park my car at the end of the street and then walk up and down …. This was not to be…. NOPE! I had to drive around LOOKING for lights on. I did this for an hour… Bunny was snow white and every one said she looked SOOOOOO SWEET!… They asked….. Is that her real hair?…. It was very cute… because she really does have snow white’s hair doo… and of course my skills at ratting hair to look like a foot ball helmet helped greatly… After I drove around an hour I finely gave up and drove to wal mart and filled up her bucket, the rest of the way up, with candy and got her socks and underwear. I know it wasn’t the greatest time but she is only two and she didn’t really like going up to the doors. She was fighting tears the whole time. Wal mart seemed to cheer her up a bit.

The husbands nephew, girlfriend and her child are here visiting……I want them to leave!.. Not now but Yesterday! They are grating on my nerves like fingernails on a chalk board. They brought there little dog which I gave them 5 months ago and my dog, Pearl the mother, is not a sweet welcome home kind of dog. I need to call the dog whisper on her… but I bet he doesn’t come this far south…. To bad.

I told the husband to stop going over and picking up Frankie… He is a menace to our home. You think I’m joking huh?…….He has caused 3 arguments and 2 full blown fights between the husband and I… So I’d call him a menace. Not to mention when he called the other day I called him a freak and told him he was doomed for a messy divorce… I’m not sure if I posted this or not but he admitted to wanting to be with his step daughter for the past two years!… He told this too his wife’s cousin… and then asked her to break the news to the step daughter so he could EASE his way on in!… What a freak!.. The step daughter is 25 and he’s 45.… AT LEAST!… Johnnie called me and asked me if I had heard and I told her that it was all way too much drama for me and now it was making me sick…..

I swear relatives sure know how to wear there welcome out… At first your glad to see them and then they stay WAY to long and your hating them by the time they leave. And isn’t it a cawinky dink that they stay away just long enough for you to forget about how bad they got on your nerves the last time?

I got to read all the nice comments every one left for me… I have to say that I have the greatest cyber friends in the world…Thanks for the island get away thought…. You know who you are…and I’m hoping that everyone was treated and not tricked last night.

Much love my people… much love indeed………………………………........

And there's some stars that fell from the sky

Please come to Boston for the springtime
I'm stayin' here with some friends and they've got lots of room
You can sell your paintings on the sidewalk
By a café where I hope to be workin' soon
Please come to Boston
She said no, would you come home to me

And she said, hey ramblin' boy, why don't you settle down
Boston ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold and there ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee

Please come to Denver with the snowfall
We'll move up into the mountains so far that we can't be found
And throw "I love you" echoes down the canyon
And then lie awake at night till they come back around
Please come to Denver
She said no, boy, would you come home to me

Now this drifter's world goes 'round and 'round
And I doubt that it's ever gonna stop
But of all the dreams I've lost or found
And all that I ain't got
I still need to cling to
Somebody I can sing to

Please come to LA to live forever
California life alone is just too hard to build
I live in a house that looks out over the ocean
And there's some stars that fell from the sky
Livin' up on the hill
Please come to LA
She just said no, boy, won't you come home to me

I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee

 another one I like.......

Crossroads, seem to come and go, yeah.
The gypsy flies from coast to coast

Knowing many, loving none,
Bearing sorrow havin fun,
But back home hell always run
To sweet melissa... mmm...

Freight train, each car looks the same, all the same.
And no one knows the gypsys name

No one hears his lonely sigh,
There are no blankets where he lies.
In all his deepest dreams the gypsy flies
With sweet melissa... mmm...

Again the mornings come,
Again hes on the run,
Sunbeams shining through his hair,
Appearing not to have a care.
Well, pick up your gear and gypsy roll on, roll on.

Crossroads, will you ever let him go? (lord, lord)
Will you hide the dead mans ghost,
Or will he lie, beneath the clay,
Or will his spirit roll away?

But I know that he wont stay without melissa.

Yes I know that he wont stay without melissa.
